Online Auction to raise money for our schools

Original post made by Amy on Jun 22, 2009

Hi Everybody,

I'm holding an online auction to raise money for the P-Town schools. I would love some donated items - services, goods, etc. I am open to unique ideas too. Do you have a ski boat that you could take a family water-skiing for the day? Are you a great cook and could prepare and deliver a fabulous meal? These are auctionable! Think outside the box. What can you do? Do you have a vacation home you could donate a few days to? Do you own a restaurant here in town? Do you design and make jewelry? Are you crafty? Do you sew or make handcrafts? Can you design websites or blogs? etc etc etc.

Please check out the blog. And bid! I am just getting it up and running, so I hope to have more items up for bid soon.

Thanks for your consideration,

Amy

Oops, i forgot to add the link. But now I'm not sure I'm allowed to on this forum. I think it might break forum rules???

I have never written a right wing post, or any political post on here what-so-ever. And I am taken aback by how rude somebody would be.

I have since browsed the forums, and realize Cholo's attacks are not limited to me. He seems to have taken over the forum with his disrespectful comments on nearly every topic. This is the first time I have posted here, and now realize I will not be coming back. I hope the PW moderators (are there any?) are able to do something to make this a better environment. Not very inviting to a new-comer being called a "troll" and accused of writing extreme right-wing posts. I feel bad for you Cholo (whoever you really are) that this is how you get your kicks and giggles in life.

Hi Amy,
Your best bet it to contact Jeb Bing and post your article in the physical paper... then ignore the blog comments. This is a nesting ground for the crazies and the chronically negative. If you ever have something in the community that you want to complain about and provide no constructive solution to... this is your spot!

You have a great idea, don't let Cholo et. al. get you down!

Even with all your negativity, I still don't trust that the money will benefit anybody but you. Please be specific about how you plan to give over ALL the $$$ to the schools. There are so many scams going on, one can't be toooooooo careful about where their hard earned money goes.

And, if you're a first time poster and not some by night artist, welcome to the world!

Stop you huffin' 'n puffin' and grow up!!!

Correction: ...not some fly by night con artist...

Cholo ... go away. To all who see his posts ... please click the objectionable comments. Blogs are not intended for this type of person. They ruin it for everyone.

Hi mimi the crybaby, oops, I mean amy the crybaby! Are you over your tantrum yet?

Surely you don't believe that you're a citizen above suspicion?

The best thing to do is to report you to the CA State Attorney General...just in case their is some kind of hanky panky going on....remember Bernie Madoff?

that's right...take the high road and you will feel better!

Cholo,

Why are you so interested in the PW Town Forum? What...got Pleasanton envy? Too much inbreeding in Livermore got you down? Why don't you start a blog with the Independent - for your own kind. Loser.

The way I see it is if the organizers of the Online Auction reach their goal of $13 million, there'll be enough money for everybody in Plutonia to "hop on BART and go to Oakland for some culture..."

hahahahahahahahhahahahahahhaha...tee hee hee, tee hee hee!
