Bosco was the best dog ever! I never met a dog as intelligent, caring, sweet and outgoing as this black lab. He will truly be missed by all in Pleasanton - especially the regulars at Main St. Brewery. RIP Bosco Hewitt!

Ilove dogs, Labs especially and I feel so sorry for Bosco's parents. If you haven't lost a dog that you love and spend a lot of time with, not just lock up in the backyard, you don't know how bad it is. That being said wasn't this posted a week ago by the editor and it's only about 5 threads down from this one?

Wasn't "Bosco" a dog that beat two people to become Mayor of Sunol and lived in Sunol in the 70's & 80's? Who was this this imposter :) Sorry to see any god dog go :(

Yes and no. "Bosco" writen about in the Weekly was always a Pleasanton dog/institution. I remember going to the PDA offices around Christmas one year only to have "our" Bosco lying in the doorway with felt antlers on his head. He'd let Frances do anything to him she wanted. Wonderful pet!
