Unfortunately, teachers will pay one way or the other

If teachers don't agree to a Step/Column freeze, they will end up "paying" by a heavier workload. Larger class sizes with less resources. Personally I would rather "pay" with a salary freeze, that would lighten my workload and keep some of my co-workers employed.
I really hope we can convince the union & teachers that this is "one" of the steps we need to make. The next step is another try at a parcel tax so we can all carry the burden as a community.
