Sept. cut off date

I think incoming kindergarteners need to be 5 years old BEFORE they start school. That would help alot in all subjects taught.

The problem is not necessarily the age at which children start kindergarten, but rather the fact that kindergarteners are now expected to do work previously taught in 1st, perhaps even 2nd grade. The expectations are not developmentally appropriate.
