Do we want a police blotter on Pleasanton Weekly's website?
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Remi, a resident of the Pleasanton Meadows neighborhood, on May 13, 2009 at 7:55 pm

My answer is a big YES. Did my neighbor hit his wife? Did my doctor get a DUI? It's informative and entertaining. Maybe it’s not an advertisement for Pleasanton but news rarely is, and as I've said before, this site is for us Pleasantonians, the world is not watching. What do you think?

I don't get the topic? Can someone explain it?

In the paper there is an abreviated version, but not here on the website. "?", do you know what a police blotter is?

It is fine with me as long as they do not name names of people arrested until convicted. I was playing sports over 30 years ago at Chico State and unfortunately got in a bit of trouble and got arrested. I thought nobody would know and then the next monday at practice everybody on the team knew about it and it was only then that I found out that it was on the front page of the paper with everybody else who either got arrested or got a ticket.

What is a police blotter? It'd be nice if someone explained this...

A police blotter is a list of recent arrests and crimes. Or a daily written record of events (as arrests) in a police station, or more specificly a register, maintained by the desk sergeant, of people arrested or brought in for questioning to a police station.

unknown,

Scroll up a bit from my post and look to your right of the page. If you call The Weekly, or complete the form online, they will get it back out to you, it says...

To answer the question, it should be posted each week, and under the crimes and incidents section. I would have thought it was...

Why doesn't the Pleasanton Police Department blotter give "ALL" the crimes commited in Pleasanton?

What about the Officers who lied under oath?

Destroyed physical evidence involved in a criminal case?

What about that Cocksucker Judge caught on tape conspiring

with those P.P.D. Officers?

What about that sad attempt at "plaques for hack's" dished out

by a fast exiting Mike Frazier?

What about all that illegal tracking and CLAN-destine spy ops

on U.S. Citizens?

What about the lies, cover-ups and kick backs thanks in part

to Micheal Rhoush (Former City Attorney of Pleasanton).

WHAT ABOUT THE REAL CRIME IN PLEASANTON?

I know, Pleasanton Weekly;... it hurts too much to leave

the truth up on your web-pages. Now delete the truth and

sink as low as the above mentioned minions.
