So Here Comes National Healthcare this Week! State, National, International, posted by Jim, a resident of the Castlewood neighborhood, on Apr 25, 2009 at 8:28 pm
Seems as if the Democrats are insistent that 17% of the US GDP must now be decided upon by a select few in the Senate...WITHOUT ANY OPPORTUNITY FOR DEBATE.
They are now poised to RAM this thru by by this coming Wednesday (via a process no ordinary citizen understands called "reconciliation"). You see, Wednesday is when Obama's 1st 100 days are over and the Dems want to make sure that implementing Nationalized Healthcare is one of O's checklist items.
Let's see...now where again has Nationalized Healthcare ever worked? Hmmm...well...nowhere. Ooops...I spoke too soon. According to the "highly respected and effective organization" called the UN, there are numerous examples where national health systems are effective (see url linked below):
Bangladesh
Ghana
Ethiopia
Kaakhstan
Barbados
Wow...let's benchmark our system to these above, since we know that it does not work in Canada, England, France, Sweden, Norway, nor anywhere else it has been attempted...including a few US States like Tennessee and Massachusetts and perhaps others.
Feel better that the Democrats are in control of so many aspects of our lives...since we as "individuals" are fully incapable?!

Oh, that's supposed to be the "UN" link. Do you have a link to the supposed impending legislation?
