Construction Vehicle Alert Noises?
Around Town, posted by What is the noise?, a resident of the Vintage Hills Elementary School neighborhood, on Apr 20, 2009 at 8:56 pm

Does anyone know the source of the loud beeping sounds (like when a large truck is backing up) in the Vineyard area is from?

This morning btwn 3am and 5am it was fairly constant and loud.

Is this from pick ups at the quarry on Stanley?

The quarry has always had a lot of the truck beeping noise.

It's from the quarry, and it's always there you just don't hear it with all the "daytime" noises (traffic and lawn mowers and such).

I think someone told me once that it was a conveyor belt or something. Sounds more like a truck though.

Thanks for the info, the quarry must be closed on weekends because there is little traffic noise and yet we don't hear the beeping. thx
