well i've asked a few people and all of them condemned videogames as being nothing but a waste of time that melts your brain away what do you think?

While I detest the first person shooter games that are so popular I have to say that my son learned to type REALLY, REALLY well after a few years of playing World of Warcraft online. This has come in extremely handy for high school and college work. He also learned many interesting tidbits of information which are embedded in the game. He has never demonstrated the least bit of violent or deviant antisocial behavior many believe are associated with this type of activity.

As an aside he now studies computer science at college and worked for Blizzard (World of Warcraft)last summer as an intern.

Good money and great experience-and possibly a job on graduation.

Not all bad I guess.
