The Pleasanton Police definately could use some improvements. Eric Finn, is a great officer turned captain. One of the good cops in pleasanton. As for a few of the others, you should look at the disputed cases. One is pretty fraudulant with alot of charges, and especially with the way he handles his cases. I am not a fan of this officer. I have seen him do things a good officer should never do. I am disapointed with his promotion. In fact I don't even believe he should be in this town. Considering he was leading rookies, and showing them the ropes, I am not impressed. In fact I am pretty upset with the quality, and actions taken by the newer officers, and even some of the older ones. Don't get me wrong in Pleasanton we have some great police, but we also have some not so great ones. I'd say to the community watch out. these aren't good cops, and don't know or care for your rights, or proper procedure. But congrats to Finn, and Fraser. Those 2 are good for the community. After all that is what I think they should be doing, being good to the community.

Congratulations to Eric Finn - a guy who deserves the promotion. I have known Eric for several years where I have seen his professionalism and friendliness take him to the top. A great guy to know - although I don't want to know him tooo professionally.

I just found this article. Had I found this when this news was recent and relevant, I would have commented then.

One of those promoted to Lieutenant when this article was written (the one who previously served with Richmond PD) is seriously a disgrace to the men and women who wear the uniform and represent that department. Too bad he holds a high up position as he is hypocritical, egotistical, and lacks respect for fellow officers.
