Well, in one sense its good to be rid of Tauscher; but her replacement will likely be another left-wing loon - perhaps even further left than she. My bigger concern is that one of Tauscher's state priorities will be to get rid of nuclear weapons. Since the genie has been out of the bottle for over 60 years, the likely outcome of that would be negotiating away our super-power status. Of course, that has been an objective of the socialists for some time. At any rate, let's hope the Tauscher replacement is another Pelosi lap-dog like we have in McNerny.

We need to act! we keep electing democrats and look what has happened to our cities and state! Now that the country is run by democrats, CA's fiscal problems are the bellweather for the nation.
Our current republican local representation stinks to put it mildly. We need folks to run that stand up on principles and engage the democrats in debate challenging and exposing their empty promises. Democrats are no longer for the people, they are for themselves and left of center agendas which are bad for all of us...We need leadership in the republican party lovally to take the election by storm by being aggressive and connecting with the voters on important issues...it's nonsense it takes 3x to win, that is old politics and is ineffective now.
