I drive kids to Foothill HS and Hart MS each morning. Every single day I see a child crossing a street at any given crosswalk without looking for an oncoming car. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, remind your child to look before they cross and better yet, making sure that they have eye contact with the driver. And as a driver, please don't assume the kids see you.

Not just children but adults who are walking with their children are not even looking at oncoming traffic before/during the crossing. If the adults don't do it, how can we expect their children to do it?

Parents of kids that ride bikes on the wrong side of the street, do you have any idea that your kids are doing this? Drive down Greenwood near Valley any day of the week after 3:05 pm The Harvest Park Middle school area). I see near collisions almost every day. PPD, do your job and warn, then cite these kids.
