FREE sub sandwich in downtown Pleasanton?? NO - Restaurants, posted by Victoria, a resident of another community, on Feb 25, 2009 at 1:27 pm
So Quizno's is giving away free subs, we went to downtown Pleasanton for a walk with the baby and our coupons in hand.... And the owner there "will not" accept the coupons. Well, that is just terrible, the corporate office will reimburse them.... so what's the hang up? That the owner is just "cheap" and doesn't want customers??? This is "bad" for wonderful downtown Pleasanton. Good thing there are other places to eat! The last time we were there the sandwich maker didnt know what they were doing and messed up our order... two strikes! I will "never" shop at that Quiznos again....... thank goodness there are 3 more nearby.
Web Link this is the website for your FREE sub, just don't go to downtown Pleasanton!

I'm eating my free sub from the downtown location right now. The coupon posted isn't the same one you print from home. The woman behind me in line also got was able to user her coupon. So maybe try again?

I believe the owner of this store is the same one my daughter used to work at. They had a jar by the cash register that customers would add money to when they received good service. The workers for the day were not allowed to split or receive any of that money and were not allowed to label it a "tip" jar. The owner considered the money his and called it a "good will" jar. He also reminded the employees that there was a camera on the jar and register and that anyone would be fired for stealing if they took that money.
It was a terrible place to work, but a good learning experience for her.

McDonald's in Pleasanton is *not* honoring the "3 Dollar Mini Meal" either. I suppose they are willing to trade off customers for their lack of participation. In the end...it will surely help me!
