Buchanan talks about state budget OK'd early Thursday

Assemblywoman Joan Buchanan (D-15th), whose district includes Pleasanton, weary from the long and arduous state budget process, has returned home from Sacramento saying she is glad that the Legislature was able to reach an agreement but that in making concessions made: "We agreed to pay the ransom."

Typical of a Demoncrat. They were held "Ransom" with our money that the GOP was trying to keep in our pockets. She is just another politician who will be sucking on the teat of the taxpayer. Elections have consequences.

agree with Mike,

cut spending CA, there is not enough income to support all the programs.

That is the fact, no way arount it.

Anyone know what % of the budget is paying:

1) Debt maintenance

2) Benefits for retirees
