BART station moves to completion, apartments put on hold

Next month, work will begin on constructing pedestrian walkways on the Pleasanton and Dublin sides of the new BART station as the project continues on pace for a late 2009 opening. But development on apartments, retail shops and a hotel all walking distance to the rail station has stalled.

How come BARDT is building a new station in Dublin, when they have never even started the one promised in Livermore?

And who thinks that $861/month is affordable for those with low- to very-low-income for a one bedroom?

With the opening of the new Dublin station, watch out for a huge crime wave. Our friends from the bay side are coming, and they will not be coming to shop!
