Posted by Bartd doesn't serve those who are forced to pay for it, a resident of Livermore, on Jan 30, 2009 at 12:52 pm

BARTD seems to be out of touch with the people. And could use more integrity:

When they were campaigning for a Tax, they promised a seat for every rider- so they did not install grabrails, They also promised to provide adequate free parking, and a station to serve Livermore.

Livermore people have been paying for more than 25 years, yet BARTD Is more interested in trying to build track and stations in other counties, who have paid nothing. And a few years ago BARTD attempted to sell off the land where the Livermore station is supposed to go.

If they make parking more expensive, and raise fares, more people will drive past the stations, and fewer people will ride the electric trains.
