The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has given $5,000 to the Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and San Ramon Valley school districts and the Las Positas College Foundation.

How generous of the lab to do this, especially in this bad economy. I'm sure the money will be put to good use. Would have liked to see some of the money go to Sunol Glen Unified School District though, they are a public school, one school district serving about 250 kids grades K-8 (most living in Sunol, Pleasanton, Livermore, and Fremont). Maybe next time the Lab might consider them.
