I didn't know we had a 'city cannon'. Makes me wonder why we're pointing it at these poor retired folks...

Let's hope the Planning Commission makes an iron-clad agreement with the owner. The seniors living in their homes are on fixed incomes and cannot afford to pay more more for rent, or for that matter pay for the air space under their homes. Most of these seniors are living in the mobile home park because their children live in town. They gave up their own homes to be nearer to their children who often care for them. There is a ten year agreement from the owner to not make the seniors pay more for rent or pay for their airpace. Our city needs to make sure this agreement withstands the sale of the property, survives if the owner dies and passes his propterties onto his children. This owner also owns several other mobile home parks in the state who are also going through the same process. Makes you wonder.

I too, am concerned about Senior's having affordable housing.
What was the outcome of the planning commission?

One can only hope this outcome takes as long as the Stoneridge Extension took to reach closure.
