Danville pilot hailed as hero after landing US Airways jet in the Hudson

Quick thinking by Danville resident pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger was credited with saving the lives of the passengers of US Airways Flight 1549 today after the plane struck a flock of birds shortly after takeoff causing both engines to malfunction and the plane to dive into the Hudson River.

As a past employee of Alaska Airlines- I understand somewhat what you went through- you saved everyone's lives- you are a hero!!

My first thought was, "WHO was on that plane?" Meaning, "WHO prayed?" or "WHO was God trying to save?" Kudos and thanks to the pilot but pilots have often said, "God is my co-pilot!" I hope to meet him when he comes home to Danville!
