The article DID state quite clearly "plants" for the first day, which is when these readers posted. Their comments regarding "plants" may have been silly, but they did provide some necessary proofreading service for the article.

Thanks, PJ. I can understand if Teacher was temporarily befuddled, but not her/his strong reaction, calling people morons. Sure, she/he came in after the fact, not realizing that this was yet another case of a typo/mis-statement on the part of the Weekly, but to lash out and call people morons before asking for clarification when you step into a situation mid-stream is really out of line.

Gril With No Voice aaaaaaand Brian. You two have both read my mind, as well. What is happening to Pleasanton is disgusting, and I know alot of that is due to this city being so easily accessible via BART.
