Reclaiming Our Basic Freedoms: Property Rights Against Encroaching Demographic Groups

Original post made by Mad as heck! on Jul 10, 2013

We have long passed the tragic decade of the 1960s in which liberal social engineering was forced down the public's throat at the expense of individual liberties. These include, to name only a few, the Voting Rights Act, Civil Rights legislation, and laws that tolerate women murdering their babies, which has since guaranteed that nearly 1/3 of women in the United States are murderers.

The Supreme Court recently showed rare courage in rolling back parts of the Voting Rights Act. The court decision reflects what we are now beginning to realize: the federal government was wrong to step into the affairs of the freedom-seeking states, and continues to be wrong today.

The decision should be a source of encouragement for all decent Americans. Using the same logic, it is now time for the courts to revisit unjust Civil Rights legislation of the past. How the liberal 1960s court could have ruled that restaurant owners and hotel proprietors must serve 'everyone' is beyond me. Are we not a nation of freedom? Why should I be forced to share my toothbrush with some neighbor with a decayed mouth down the street? Well, fortunately we're not there yet. But we're moving in that direction.

So, why should a hotel proprietor be forced to open his rooms to dirty and unkempt people who are more than likely to repel decent people and scare them off the premises? Why should a restauranteur be forced to serve hamburgers to uncivilized people who will intimidate everyone else in the restaurant?

This is the nub of our great nation's libertarian revolt against the forces of socialist engineering. Our Founding Fathers had no intention to make us share our toothbrushes. Nor did they want to make us sell goods, whether hamburgers or houses, to those from undesirable demographics.

Our country is entering a new phase, and the recent Supreme Court decision suggests that we may be able to do what decent people have wanted to do for a long time: Preserve our liberty by keeping the undesirables at bay.

The money saved by home owners would be enormous. The federal government forces us to sell our homes to undesirables, and it has a negative effect on all home values in the neighborhood. Surely this is not what our Founding Fathers wanted.

Friends and neighbors, we have so much to gain, so much money to keep in our pockets if we can only keep certain people in the demographic groups and areas in which they belong. We can do so as morally principled peoples who realize that our greatest freedom is that of keeping our hard-earned investments and inheritances in our own pockets where they belong.

The Supreme Court, with the exception of the gay perversion ruling, is moving in the right direction, and with God willing, will continue to move in that direction. But it cannot be fast enough. Please write your Congressional representative, urging them to consider writing up and passing legislation that will repair the damage that was done by the liberal socialist engineers over the past decades.

Beyond that, join your local TEA Party group of loyal and patriotic Americans. We're talking basic freedom here.

Ah Geez, libertarians have a problem... they have little control over their life and project that outwards.
