Aside from the ridiculous waste of money that would result from changing all the signage, documents, etc., this proposed change was just another flamboyant display of self-centeredness by the queer community in S.F.
It's good to see this 'divisive' issue met a fitting end with this concession, showing uncharacteristic sanity: "he worked to make sure members of other communities were represented as well."
Or maybe it's not all about gays and imposing their lifestyle on the majority.
Just how crazy can San Francisco get? It is becoming the laughing stock of the whole world. The last time we were in San Francisco we had our two young granddaughters with us and this naked pervert walks right up to us with his Johnson at 3 o'clock. It just doesn't get any sicker than that. We won't be going back to the Cesspool by the Bay - ever.
I prefer the present name.
