I have children there, it has been a wonderful environment for them. This news is very saddening as it would seem one person has single handedly ruined a strong program. As the facts unfold I hope the person who is responsible is held accountable at all levels.
As I believe this was an isolated incident and do not feel my children are at risk of harm, I will wait and see how the school responds to this situation before making any changes. So far they have been very forthcoming and the honesty is appreciated.

They are required to notify parents, they said it themselves. Don't believe forthcoming is what I would call it exactly. Gail, how long is quite a while? I hope so. I'm not even going to get started on the "taking a picture" aspect.....
I'm glad they contacted Social Services. Oh wait, they are required to do that also. It's called child abuse reporting requirements. It's great to see such proactive measures.

Pleasanton parent: Please do tell where I have made any errors. Perhaps my use of sarcasm, but feel free to examine the (WI) Welfare and Institutions code of CA or other mandatory reporting requirement laws to confirm if you like.
If you are happy with their services, then that is ok and your opinion to express. That is a good thing to share when such a negative report is described. I get that. But I am just saying I don't believe it when they say they are being honest and forthright about the allegations. They are simply adhereing to the legal requirements in place.
