Notice that David Miller is a candidate for City Council fills me with dread. He has already made school funding his priority to kill, regardless of the cumulative deficit from the state budget of tens of millions of dollars

You must be thinking of somebody else. David has been at school meetings getting to understand and help solve some of the district's financial problems (some of which were self-inflicted by the district). David has three kids in the school district and has a vested interest in seeing it succeed. Where David's objectives might be different than your's is he want to look a how we get out of this debt that we are in so his kids are not paying the bills for things we charge today.
