What has become of Pleasanton?
Around Town, posted by nancy s., a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on Feb 5, 2013 at 8:50 pm

I read the wonderful article on Valley care turning 50. However the following comments were awful. What has become of the people that post on the weekly? They take nice story And trash talk it. Now this story is blocked so nobody else can comment.

Happy birthday valley care . Thank you for 50 years of taking care of this community.

I'm sure it has something to do with the water. Since we moved in to Ruby Hill we've had the most disgusting water spots on our glassware, even after rinsing them twice in two very expensive rinsers.

Now, before you fly off the handle, Nancy, the above was meant to be humorous. Lighten up already!

There were some pretty caustic and racist comments posted on what should have been a story of local pride. Especially offensive was the post about the demographics of the Hospitals' workers. I suspect it all started with one disgruntled sickie who was denied a job for being unqualified, yet blamed his failure on 'the system' and the qualified white majority of workers and the hospital. All it takes is one......
