Any idea of what time this robbery occurred? Right across from McDonald's and nobody saw a thing?

If the victim had an M-16 slung over his shoulder, the perp with the little silver handgun wouldn't have bothered him. But since the dumb liberal victim (49er jersey? c'mon!) was carrying a purse with a Randy Moss jersey in it but no gun he was just asking to be robbed at gunpoint. Fight the tyranny!

The article doesn't mention if the victim was a man or a woman. If it was a man - then I would guess it's a same sex relationship gone bad. Nonetheless, so long as Alameda County Sheriff doesn't allowe concealed carry - expect these crimes to increase in the Obama economy.

Pleasantonians start arming yourselves!

We are seen by these outsiders as EASY

TARGETS. They need an example that

we Are Not! It's easier to ask for forgiveness

than permission. You can't ask for either

if you're DEAD!

...and do it before King Obama starts registering

your bullet purchases!

Does anyone actually read and/or retain what is in the article....

First question posed above: Any idea of what time this robbery occurred?

(and then is answered by someone who said they read it on Yahoo local news...) The second sentence of the article reads: 'Sergeant James Boland of the Pleasanton Police Department said the robbery suspect approached the victim at about 9:47 p.m.'

Second question posed: The article doesn't mention if the victim was a man or a woman. The article clearly states in the first sentence: 'An unidentified man robbed another man last night.....'

Come on people, sober up before you start adding comments.

All of the previous comments are nuts. Robberies like this happen everywhere, everyday. The Shell station is easy off/easy on accress to the freeway so both victim and perp could be from out of the area.

@William Tell - why did you post such a retarded comment about a same sex relationship? No where in the article did it say the vicim knew the suspect. And even if he did, why would you assume it was a relationship gone bad?

Yeah, I would like to see a shoot out over a couple hundred bucks worht of stuff, a shoot out that could very likely end with innocent bystanders being harmed.

As far as I am concerned we should GET ALL GUNS OFF THE STREET.

Poor Nancy, it seems you have a lot of growing up to do. What you fail to realize is that if the victim wasn't sashaying around without a weapon like he was but instead was openly carrying a constitutionally guaranteed military assault weapon, there would be no robbery, no gunfight, no victim.

William Tell is onto something regarding same sex involvement. The victim, after all, was a male from San Francisco. Doesn't that tell you something? Also, he seemed to be carrying some kind of purse on his person. Hint, hint? Put 2 and 2 together and its all pretty obvious. That's why I don't allow my kids into S.F. Too many male purse carriers, if you know what I mean.

Again, no where in article do I see male victim was from san Francisco. He had a randy moss jersey and niners jacket, doesn't mean he is from san Francisco. I walk around Pleasanton everyday and see people wearing Oakland raider apparel, am I to assume they live in Oakland? If I see one of these raider apparel wearing people going into a home should I assume they are breaking in and call the police?

I can hardly believe these comments.
