After decades of educating students, tourists and Bay Area residents about the wacky ways of biology, physics, chemistry and more, the Exploratorium will be closing its doors at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco Wednesday, Jan. 2, then reopening April 17 in new facilities. The interactive science museum, located at 3601 Lyon St.,is moving to a new location at San Francisco's Pier 15. On its last day on Lyon Street, admission will be free with hours that day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Our family have loved the S.F.'s Exploratorium - we feel there is no better experience anywhere in the USA! If your family has never visited the Exploratorium you are missing out!!!!!
