I like that cities are giving their communities an opportunity to see their Local Artists by having them added to events, or creating events like the Artists' Market in Walnut Creek, and our very own ArtBlock in Pleasanton. Pleasanton Downtown Association and Studio 7 did it for the first time this year during the communities 1st Wed Street Parties. It was a very positive step giving the community and the Wed Street Parties a little something extra. It also gave the Local artists a chance to get to know their neighbors. I hope our city will continue to back the community in showing how much talent we have within our midst ~
