Mitt Romney and the Republican Party of Dumb

Original post made by Oliver Towne, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Nov 13, 2012

This past presidential election should be looked upon a a real learning experience for the Republican Party and its supporters. It exposed the right wing echo machine as it is sometimes called for what it is: A closed system of information and communication which insulates its active players as well as their audiences, and insodoing closes off opportunities for all involved to work towards the 'truth' of politics.

Glad you've got it all figured out there, ollie. We need to get smarter like uncle joe, jesse jackson jr., nancy pelosi, mary hayashi, pete stark, etc.
Man, are they smart. Thanks so much for your lengthy and arrogant elitist rant. Time to get back to school to indoctrinate some youths, eh?

Wow! A new poster child for the liberals! All mouth and no words. Do you look as dumb as you sound with your shallow, full package ignorance? Biting the nose to spite the face has never been a good idea (how you voted).

Simply two questions: What do you like about Obama (any vision in there)? Who's going to pull the wagon now that entitlement has been bought via votes?

What a waste of time and effort(10 paragraphs?), why doesn't your manifesto have any solutions. The election is over you won, stop pointing fingers and get something done.

Oliver, I agree with you. We don't do democracy as well as we should in this country. More democracy = a better informed citizenry. The shenanigans of Fox and the Republicans tend to foster ignorance and blind belief. This time the Republicans got the candidate and the result they deserve. And judging from the above comments, they've got a long way to go before they dig themselves out of the deep hole they're now in.

Oliver, I disagree with you. We don't do democracy as well as we should in this country. More Republicans= a better informed citizenry. The shenanigans of Msnbc, huffpo, cnn, abc, cbs, nbc, comedy central and the dems foster ignorance and blind belief. This time stupid, gullible women, minorities and leaches voted for four more years of Obama depression and govt dependence. Good luck to all you lemmings.....

ollie did make a very good point.Fox,Limbaugh and the gang rarely if ever interview the the other side.Sara Palin will not be interviewed by someone who does not share her beliefs. At least someone like Chris Matthews has repubs on his show almost daily, including tea party leaders.I seldom watch the other shows on MSNBC but I know Maddow always invites repubs on to debate the issues.
If all you do is preach your point of view and do not want your viewers to hear opposing views it says a lot.It is actually very weak.It is very similar to the repubs in the congress who refuse to understand that we need to compromise.

Liberals are just good liars and great and hiding important information that might have had an impact on the election. Had the pattreaus or truth about Benghazi come out, he might not have been re-elected at all.

Liberals took the lie, lie, lie, deflect, deflect, deflect and race, woman hating, they are all bigots approach.

Got him elected, but the truth WILL come out.

The correct spelling is Petraeus.

The facts of Benghazi were not revealed by the FBI to the Justice Department because of rules that were put into effect many years ago after Watergate and President Nixon's ultimate resignation. This is because Nixon tried desperately to manipulate the Watergate investigation in order to protect himself. After that situation, rules were imposed on the FBI and the Justice Department in order to allow investigations to proceed without the knowlwedge of the President so that no president could manipulate any investigation.

It was a wise decision.

There will be republican presidents under investigation some day too.

The rules apply to Democrat and Republican Presidents alike and are reasonable and wise.
