I just got stuck in this mess, starting around 12:35. It took almost 40 minutes to get from the Bernal 680 NB entrance to the exit for Stoneridge. I cannot belive the PPD has not closed the NB Bernal entrance yet! Foothill was also backed up with the overflow.

Diva..was it the parking lot that was northbound i680 , the SIG alert or the news reports every 5 minutes on tv and radio that threw you for a loop. When you drove down Bernal you could see the traffic was completely stopped on the freeway....if you put down your phone while driving or looked past your cars hood you may have noticed. Why do you need a the cops to close an entrance when two lane were open northbound?
