Fireworks maybe? Anyone else hear all the noise?
Around Town, posted by Lily, a resident of the Danbury Park neighborhood, on Sep 22, 2012 at 8:08 pm

The neighbors are all out. Anyone know what's going on? It sounds like a really long grand finale.

Wow, they know how to celebrate, don't they? My poor cat is going to need therapy after all of this. :)

Yes they do! It's all in great fun, but bummer for those of us with little ones who were asleep and now are needing another bedtime routine...ah well, tough to complain about life when we're so blessed!!!!

I didn't see anything about Dublin's 100th BD.

The fireworks a little after 8PM on Saturday were the first annual Splatter food (and games) festival. There were at least a hundred booths with games, tasting, fair products set up in the eastern third of Emerald Glen.

The tasting tenet represented many Tri-Valley wineries and restaurants.

I was surprised it was a big set-up for one day, and they didn't do much advertising outside of Dublin.

It was the first annual event in Dublin called Splatter that was held Saturday. It began at 10:00 a.m. and ran all day, with fireworks at the end. There were arts and crafts booths, food trucks, wine and food tasting, kids activities, musical entertainment all day. Entrance was free. It was advertised via flier in the Pleasanton Weekly.

It was part of Splatter in Dublin. As for 100 birthday of Dublin--dublin is older then 100

...spelling does count in future life, Little Lepercan (otherwise folks might think you have a contagious skin ailment) :) "Leprechaun" (an Irish word, Web Link) and "older then 100" ... "older than 100".
