Northbound i680 HOV/Express Lane in Planning Process
Around Town, posted by Bill, a resident of the Amberwood/Wood Meadows neighborhood, on Sep 18, 2012 at 9:34 am

CalTrans published in the SJ Merc yesterday a public notice indicating that they are in the planning stages of the i680 HOV/Express Lane project.

The public can listen to a presentation and make comments at a CalTrans meeting to held Oct 3rd at Hearst Elementary School, 5301 Case Ave, Pleasanton. The meeting time is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

This project cannot be completed soon enough. This extra lane has been needed for decades.

Forgot to mention that this project will follow the southbound HOV/Express Lane. It will originate at i680/Hwy237 junction, over the Sunol grade, to i680/Hwy84 junction.
