Once, long ago, I lived for a while in Boston, a charming town in many ways, though it could be dangerous if you knew where to look. I used to walk through the Commons during the summer, and one day it occurred to me that people were more interested in the pigeons resting on the statue of George Washington than they were in the statue and what it represented.

Maybe, Mike, the statue wasn't a very good one.

What peeves me is not so much pigeons but Huffington Post running a hit-job on one of our greatest presidents, George W. Bush, with the author claiming that newly revealed documents show that Bush and his advisors were even more 'negligent' than we have been led to believe.

The obvious moral here is that we need a new president who will treat govt like a business and make a profit.

I believe that bush should have been kicked out of office. He stayed away from the repub. convention because he was ordered not to not show his duplicitous face. When I read that I just about bust a gut. More than just a few honest repubs. are ASHAMED OF HIM.

His daughters remainED safe because he made sure that they never volunteered to fight for the USA!

They could have taken a bullet just as well as any white soldier that died.

The sad sack stayed away from the convention...tee hee
