Not only did the BARTD budget and take the money to build the system to the Livermore station, not build it, and use it for something else, but they claimed Pleasanton did not need "end of the line" parking.
Why? Because it was not the end of the line! Thats one reason for the scarcity that prevents us from using the BARD, even it we wanted to.
Then BARTD sold most of the "East" Dublin ground level parking lot to builders, to be more apartments. ( The parking lots we are now using have already been sold!)
Somehow they claim more apartments will reduce the need the current users have for parking - while ignoring the fact that more people just means fewer seats, and that the apartment people need parking also.
