Watching the newest man-made rover, Curiosity, land on Mars was a marvel to watch this evening. When people can get together and make things happen, it's inspirational. What happened to the House of Representatives?

The Mars rover landing was a huge technical accomplishment and a gratifying fete for those remaining NASA employees left after sever cuts to ur space program ove the past few years. Good thing this project was in place befre it was cut.
Regarding the House, what happened to them is directly related to the Senate blocking all the progress they have promoted to reign in out of control spending.
What happened to the House in the first two years of this administration? Why do you think they were voted out?

L is a D brings up an important point: spending $2.5 billion to protect us from space liberals is a sound investment. Know thy enemy, I say! And what greater challenge to the threat of intergalactic communism could America make than to directly confront this disease at its source: the RED planet itself!
Now--while our traitorous athletes trying to defect from America's exceptionalism at the Olympics disgrace us by exercising their freedom to choose their own outfits--it's more important than ever to march together in unified, unindividualized lockstep to the drumbeat of American job creators!

(Comment partially removed by Pleasanton Weekly Online staff as irrelevant to this thread.)
But, hey, how about that Mars rover? It's 2.5 billion not spent on food stamps, needle exchanges, dem propaganda and HSR.

Everyone wants freedom without any cost. Any taxation is interpreted as loss of freedom. Why not create a "free" state where there are no taxes or fees? A free state there are no gun laws? A free state without no limits on free speech?
Would anyone go and stay there? Maybe Mars is one such place! ;-)
