The food trucks will be in the parking lot at Amador every Tuesday night till school starts again. A portion of sales are donated to the Amador Friends of Music, the booster club. Apparently the marching band is going to the Fiesta Bowl this year! But they need to cover their own costs, so this is one way that they are raising funds.
There were a Mexican truck, a Vietnamese/Singaporean truck, a hot dog truck, a pizza truck and a dessert truck tonight. (Trucks may vary from week to week.)
There have also been food truck events in Pleasanton at Stoneridge mall, in the Walmart parking lot, and at the fairgrounds. The Patch seems to cover the events more often than the Weekly...

I think I read that the hours are every Tuesday (during summer) from 4:30pm to 9pm.
I went tonight and had some good Malaysian food from one of the trucks. It was a little pricey but I felt it was worth it if some of it's helping a good cause.

The food trucks will be at Amador's front parking lot every Tuesday all the way through August from 4:30 to 9:00 pm. They will have different trucks each week for us to try. Bring friends and family. They have tables set up to eat at or tail gating in the parking lot is fun too.
"The Food Mafia" is the organizer of this event helping Amador's Marching Band with this fundraiser.
