oh joy-no one in the downtown area just east of the fairgrounds cannot have any emergencies since a fire truck will not be able to maneuver on the narrow streets, thanks to all the cars parked on Harrison, Angela, Augustine. please hold off on your emergencies till monday.

I have lived in the Downtown for over 30 years. It is interesting that during the Fair no cars can park on Harrison St. Angela, Augustine, reason given has been, the streets need to be clear for emergency vehicles. That doesn't seem to matter during Good Guys, Scottish Games, Craft Shows, etc.!

AMEN Judy. That is what I have been trying to tell the city but for some reason it is called selective hearing.

I wake up this morning to the joys of people being inconsiderate to the residents of downtown Pleasanton. my car was completely squished in by two visitors to cheap to pay for parking at the fairgrounds. Thank GOD, I didn't have an emergency with my 100 year old father but I was still unable to get my car out of it's spot on Harrison Street. Part of my neighbors driveway was blocked by some moron, and yes they called the police but since it was completely blocked the law said it was ok. WTF? Us residents that pay taxes have no rights?

I have since bought some red paint (washable of course) as have a few of my neighbors-. I cannot wait till tomorrow.
