Today's last chance to see historic WWII planes at Livermore Airport

Today's the last chance this year to see, smell, feel and walk through a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Consolidated B-24 Liberator and a P-51 Mustang at the Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour 2012, which will be at the Livermore Airport from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today

About ten years ago I had the pleasure of going up in the B 17, the 909 of the Cowlings foundation, I took my then 12 year old grandson as well, a day I shall never forget, it was a great experience.

My dad flew the B-24 during the war over Europe. When the planes were in his town he was able to fly it again the week before his 90th birthday.

These planes are a sight to see. Every one interested should go see these restored flying machines.
