Appeals court rejects disabled citizens' bid to obtain medical marijuana

Four disabled Californians who want to use medical marijuana lost a bid to a federal appeals court in San Francisco Monday to seek a new path to carving out an exception to U.S. laws criminalizing the drug.

This whole medical marijuana issue is such a crock. It anyone truly needs the ingredient in medical marijuana, their doctor can prescribe it in pill form. And no, I don't want to hear some potheads argument that the pills aren't as good as the joints -- thats also a crock. The sole purpose for "medical marijuana" is to circumvent illegal substance laws. One of the exceedinly few good things that Obama has done is to provide some level of enforcement of federal laws against marijuana.

Keeping marijuana illegal while booze is legal is hypocritical.

Period.
