Enjoy gardening? Looking for inspiration? Participate in the Hidden Gardens of the Valley garden tour in Pleasanton this weekend benefiting Valley Humane Society. The event is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, May 20. Advance ticket price is $35 and $40 the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at Alden Lane Nursery, Armstrong Garden Center, Serenity Stoneworks, Towne Center Books, Western Garden Nursery, and Valley Humane Society.
All proceeds benefit Valley Humane Society, a local non-profit organization. Questions, call VHS 426-8656.

Hope everyone comes out and visits all the beautiful gardens in the different Pleasanton neighborhoods, even Ruby Hill. It looks like the weather is going to be great this year and it's fun to see what neighbors have done in their yards. I know I always get new ideas. It's a great way to spend a lesiurely Sunday afternoon and help support all the dogs and cats at Valley Humane Society. I'll be working at one of the gardens and hope to see you all there.

Buy a ticket and stop by my house, one of the 10 Hidden Gardens on the tour. Take the stroll around our Hidden Garden with a sip of wine (or coffee in the morning) and relax!

The weather will be gorgeous, so come out and see all the beautiful gardens on the VHS Tour. We are proud to be Garden #3, "Midnight's Magical Moorea"!!

i want to come and support the animals but $35 to $40 seems a little steep to me. If I come with my hubby, it is $70- $80 for the afternoon. What justifies the cost? It seems like an event that should be $15 - $20 per ticket

Tickets are still available for the garden tour at Valley Humane Society. VHS (3670 Nevada Street, Pleasanton) opens tomorrow at noon. You can also buy tickets at Alden Lane, Western Garden, Serenity Stoneworks, Towne Center Books, and Armstrong Garden Center.
The ticket price includes entry into 10 beautiful gardens in Pleasanton, including 3 in Ruby Hill. Light refreshments and wine tasting will be available at select locations and meet Buzz Bertolero.
A raffle will be held for 11 wonderful gift baskets. The best thing about this event - 100% of the proceeds benefit Valley Humane Society!
