If Matt Sullivan pulls anymore of his procedural highjinks tonight, an investigation should immediately be launched to see if he is taking bribes from the union(s).
Pleasantonians should show up at the City Council meeting in force to show the unions that we are not going to put up with union bullying in Pleasanton.
As we read about the criminal activity that the SEIU has been involved in recently (i.e. paying for criminal activities), it raises more suspicions about what criminal activity the unions may be involved in regarding this Walmart application.

City council by 4-1 vote denied Sullivan's appeal. Thank goodness for common sense, rule of law, and free market. Sullivan should make his own choice not to shop at WalMart. But, market should decide what stores remain open & which close.

Yes, this is a great day for all Peasantonians who support Walmart labor practices, bribery of foreign and domestic politicians, and exploitation of child labor. Drop your prices Safeway and Luckys; and if you don't, well then you should consider busting up your unions and employing more child laborers.
This is also a great day for people like me who buy corndogs and pickled eggs in bulk.
