What a joke! Thorne being appointed to a body that purports to champion local control!!??? He and the other two stooges certain did a great job of the when Governor Moonbeam hosed Pleasanton forever by ramming low-cost housing down our throats.

Would somebody that's not a loon please run for Mayor? After 8 years of The Hippy Mayor, Pleasanton can afford more years with one of The Three Stooges as Mayor.

He needs someone to tell him what to do. Mayor, oh please! The guy is a dreeb. The League of Cities is the City's Political Arm. The city pays dues (contribution)to League of Cities. If they were the least bit effective then why has the state been so successful in raiding city monies? What we don't need is a Mayor spending his attention on another entity like Hosterman did with the US Mayors. Pretty soon it became all about that body and not about Pleasanton anylonger. Now she is going to teach at Stanford and run for Congress. I am busting a gut laughing. She could not even pass the BAR Exam after multiple tries. May Thorne and Hosterman skip on out of here forever, and hopefully they will take the others with them. Pleasanton needs a "Housecleaning".

Hey Nut, do not lump Jerry with the others...he is just right...not too anything on either extreme , just plain common sense experience.

Sorry, Perfect, but Thorne is a fully participating member of The Three Stooges - meaning he is a left wing wacko, has accomplished very little for Pleasanton, and has done lots to hurt Pleasanton. We don't need him as Mayor. Unfortunately, Cook-Callio is even more a left wing-nut than Thorne, so we desperately need another responsible candidate that is not a lefty loon to enter the race for Mayor.

My vote is for Peyton Clayton. Or Lugnut. No more hippy mayors. No more stooges. No more lefty loons. No more dreebs. Must pass bar exam. "Perfect" is a union bought off troll.
