Council meets tonight to restrict operating hours, number of patrons at Club NEO

The Pleasanton City Council will meet tonight to consider sharply reducing the number of patrons allowed in Club NEO, a nightclub in a Hopyard Road shopping center, and also limiting its hours of operations.

A good friend of mine, who is a shop owner and leases a storefront in the same physical structure, would relate to you a greater order of magnitude of the problems that are presented in this article. In other words, it's much worse than it has been portrayed. I liked it better when it was a billiard parlor...

Close it. Period. They have violated not only the law but the restrictions on their permit. Get the jerks out and don't let another trashy club move in.

I am surprised that the other tenants have not forced the landlord to evict them. Why should any tenant pay rent to have something like that club in the same center. Read the comments above.

We are having family members come to visit and we decided not to have them stay at the Courtyard or the Sheraton because they're too close to this place.

I guess the City is waiting for someone to get killed here before pulling the permit.

We need more guverment meddling in folks's private affairs. They should shut it down. What they need there is a free dental clinic for me and my friends in the Tea Party.
