I sure hope the police realize this isn't a Honda or a Lexus. It's Cadillac Deville rolling on 22s. Should be easy to find that thing if you know where to look.

That is NOT a Honda or Lexus... That is a Cadillac!!! If you are not sure of what kind of car you saw, don't guess! That will send people on a wild goose chase for the wrong car. Just admit that you don't know.

Okay - you guys are reminding me of "My Cousin Vinny" - I love it! And you are so right - don't guess on the make/model - we can't afford wild goose chases these days.

It appears to be a 2011 Cadillac DTS. Note the side ports aft of the front wheels. Also, the rear view pictures of the car that I have seen have vertical tail lights, consistent with the Cadillac DTS. This information was passed on to the Pleasanton police department on the day of the attempted burglary.

Yep a Cadillac in this picture, but the witnesses describe it as a Lexus or Honda. Something is wrong with the investigation if the cops can't even ID what the make is from the picture. You can see the Cadillac emblem on the grill, Frank has it right, very obvious.
Why is it a week later those of us in the neighborhood are just seeing the info? This is all the more reason for the police to have a local community alert system that will text or email you this info like the cities in the west bay have.

These are serial thieves. Bad guys, NOT breakfast food. Catching them will probably solve lots of robberies, and prevent countless more. Couldn't be that many 2011 Cadillac DTS's registered in this part of the state.
Maybe our police could look into this?
OR Maybe a good reporter could also, help, and get a scoop?

dear Cadillac owner...definitely NOT a BMW...I too believe it is a Cadillac, but wish my grandson was here, he would know without question!! The consensus has it right though, it is pretty clearly a Caddy, and it is a little strange & troublesome that the Police cannot verify this fact. Maybe they can by now...hopefully.

Naturally the police got it wrong. What would you expect from a unionized work force? And the media got it wrong too, but that's because they're all liberal, so when they're not lying they're getting everything wrong as they always are about everything.

Massive C Pillar, boxy rear end, square-ish front end with (duh!) CADILLAC emblem clearly visible on front grill. Looks like a 2004-2009 Cadillac DTS. Hey Pleasanton Weekly & Police, please revise your search criteria.

There are sketches of the burglars on the Pleasanton Patch.. at least we can be on the lookout for this dynamic door-to-door duo in our neighborhoods..
