Villa del Sole is a privately owned property that stands on the same land where Phoebe Apperson Hearst had her Hacienda De Verona Estate. It is now also home to the Valley Humane Society fundraiser gala Saturday night.

Phoebe's Hacienda's name was La Hacienda del Pozo de Verona. It was named after the wellhead/fountain (pozo) brought from Verona, Italy.

Phoebe has a male lover by the name of Jose Felip de la Monte. He gave her 2 children, both of whom died suddenly in their sleep?
