Lin..Part 2
Sports, posted by hoops, a resident of the Mohr Park neighborhood, on Feb 26, 2012 at 11:28 am

OK..Now we have the most unique marketing situation in the HISTORY of sports.Really.Is Lin for real or is he not.Should these huge companies offer him millions of dollars worth of endorsements or not? Will he be starting a month for now or be backing up Baron Davis??Was he in a perfect storm for 2 weeks with no pressure and no expectations and played out of his mind??Now he has to play with Stoudamire,Anthony and JR Smith and teams are prepared for him as well.Nike and Ben and Jerrys have already jumped in.We will see how deep.Sports Illustrated estimated he may be worth 300 mil.INSANITY.I will tell you one thing for sure...it is TOTALLY different playing with no expectations and no other elite players on the court to worry about passing the ball to.That has all changed and I worry that this could become very disappointing for a lot of people.

"I worry that this could become very disappointing for a lot of people."

Yeah, me too. If I'm not worrying about the state of the economy and finding a job, I'm worrying myself senseless about Linsanity. Something needs to be done!

Ever since High School I've worried myself silly about my team. I didn't actually know anybody on the team, and none of them certainly knew me and probably didn't care to know me. But boy, I lost sleep at night in anticipation of a big game. I don't know Lin personally, but I worry so much about him. Maybe he worries about me? I don't know. I'll weigh in again come salary time.

Hey Chuckster...You need to lighten up and realize that to a lot of people this is a very interesting story.Of course if you think it is not interesting or unprecedented that a struggling person who is on the verge of quitting his profession and 3 weeks later is the most talked about person on the planet and worth potentially 300 mil, well I apologize my post.
