Sure sounds like rape to me. Assuming this is a fairly written article, Ramirez is a dangerous man.

As a conviction has not been handed down, I will write generally.

It takes real courage for a victim to face their rapist. It must take even more to when your rapist is someone you once cared about and trusted.

Rape is a violent crime about power, not desire. Way too often, the one violated is victimized repeatedly. First, in the attack, then by the system and often socially.

To report a rape then follow a case to trial, whether on the stand or not, takes tremendous strength and courage, Maria. I hope you have the support you need and may justice prevail.

I hope that the "rapist" is convicted and does time.

Hopefully, Ramirez will meet up with Buba in a prison shower.
