I think this "Can Cam" kid is doing all of this for publicity. He knew what he was getting into once he decided to go to that school to "possibly fight" it was his choice to go now deal with the consiquences kid.

You're probably right, Anne. I mean, personally, I love being stabbed in the liver!

A certain teen needs to be locked up long term. Take away the knife and what do you have?

another messed up teen...

Seriously, I do not think this kid is doing anything for publicity. There are a lot of gangs out there that pose a threat to all of our kids. They use power and intimidation. There needs to be more security measures at schools to prevent fake and real weapons getting in. There needs to be better support systems in place so when the kids feel threatened they have a safe place to ask for help.

No you might not like being stabbed in the liver, but if you went there looking for a fight and if you have a history of being violent you had an idea of how things ended. If you keep up with this case you will see that not only did this kid bring a gun, fake or not fake it’s still a gun. Besides what are these kids doing at this school campus when they do not attend this school? And hes not doing it for publicity? Then what is it? Street cred? If he wasn’t doing it for any of these reasons why did they release his name if he’s a minor?

Why? ..because Rap Singers who are gang members and are bad boys have a better reputation if they have a violent history of fighting. I am sure he did not intend to get stabbed but this only adds to his career goal of becoming a Rap Singer. Of course he and his parents are using it for publicity!

Love the rap singer comments:)Although we need to remember this is happening in our community and we are only as strong as our weakest link.

In elementary schools we are asked and we participate in the our childrens education and growth. However, in middle and high school years we barely get any form of communication from the schools except a report card that is mailed to the home and back to school night.

In my opinion, its time to let the families be more involvled in the middle and high school years. God knows with all the budget cuts the teachers could use our help. Instead we have overcrowded schools with overworked teachers, staff and programs that at risk of being cancelled. Together we can make a change.

Of course we cant fix or control everything but what we are doing currently isnt the best.

Arrest and charge the parents of these relentless reprobates. They are guilty of the much greater offense of bad parenting.
