Malls are notorious for attracting crime. You get employee thefts (embezzlement), shoplifting (petty theft), shoplifting with a prior theft conviction (felony theft), stolen cars, burglarized cars, kids fighting, and vandalism. Go to any community in America with a mall, and unfortunately, you will find this to be the case. I feel sorry for the cop who has to work with this beat, because they probably spend their entire shift there handling the calls.
