Original post made by Announcements on Oct 12, 2011

School spirit is on the rise at Foothill High School as the Falcons prepare for Friday night's homecoming football game against Granada High School!

This year's Homecoming week theme was movie series with the sub-themes Pirates of the Caribbean (freshmen), Star Wars (sophomores), Twilight (juniors) and Harry Potter (seniors). Students have had a full week of spirit building activities leading up to the Big Homecoming Game pitting the Foothill Falcons against Granada High School on Friday and the Homecoming dance on Saturday. Scores of Alumni are dusting off their letterman jackets, searching their closets for their blue and gold and making plans to return to Foothill for the Homecoming Game.

Friday night's Homecoming Festivities will kick off at 4:30 pm with the JV football game . Then at 7pm, the Foothill Falcon Varsity Football team will take the field to battle against the Granada Matadors. The game will be shown live on TV 30 with hosts Ian Bartholomew and George "Dr. B" Baljevich, plus Anna Kagarakis reporting from the field. The game show will include interviews with coaches, students and other guest commentators.

At halftime, Foothill's award winning marching band will perform followed by the crowning of the Homecoming King, Queen and their court.

We encourage alumni and new fans alike to come out, wear your blue and gold and cheer on the Falcons to victory!
