Mr. McNerney, We're Watching Your Vote on "Cut, Cap & Balance" this coming Tuesday
State, National, International, posted by ConservatismWorks, a resident of the Amador Estates neighborhood, on Jul 16, 2011 at 7:50 am

Mr. McNerney, are you at all serious about improving America's economy, and reducing our enormous debt?

We will be watching how you vote next Tuesday on the "Cut, Cap and Balance" bill.

Web Link

PS...I'd be very happy to post a comparison bill authored by the Democrats on what YOU propose to reduce our debt...but the Democrats haven't produced one in over two years.

Much ado about nothing. Only the Fox-fed fetishists are lathered up about this. By the way, did you see the credentials of Rebecca Brooke, most recent of Murdoch's top execs to resign over wiretapping your phone and hacking into your computer? Began her rise to leadership in Murdoch's empire as a secretary who knew how to bat her eyes and shake her hips. (Sort of a Palen-like figure.) She shook her booty in front of Murdoch, he noticed, and the rest is history. She was known to demand whatever it took from the soul-selling "journalists" she was given command over in order to get reader attention and hence an additional buck for the corporation. Disgusting, but not surprising given the cannibalistic fetishists who start drooling at the prospect of govt taking money from the mouths of babes.

Wall Street does not want a govt shutdown as it would disrupt their money-gouging operations. Repubs are currently marching in lockstep, but when push comes to shove they won't bite the hand that feeds them, and several will follow Obama's lead 'for the betterment of the country'. Right now they're following an ideological agenda that has them looking completely silly in the public's eyes. Boring, boring, boring.

FDR foolishly tried to "balance the budget" in 1937, contrary to the admonition of Alan Keynes that doing so would destroy the economic progress made between 1934-1937 and renew the Great Depression.

FDR ignored the warning, and the Great Depression returned, to be broken only by--wait for it--massive government spending for World War II.

I'm watching, too. But I'm hoping/expecting he will not vote for this ridiculous bill.

We need to look no further than today's other article (Web Link) to see how TEA Party budget slashing is going to play out. Millions of jobs lost, a gridlocked justice system, crumbling infrastructure, a generation of kids short-changed on education.

I am hoping the dummies continue to believe in my hope and change talk or should I say rope a dope while I continue to spend us into extinction!!!! as I remake america into a 3rd world country. I say let's go after those millionaires and billionaires making $200,000 per year and those people with private jets as I fly around the country on Air Force One fundraising.

The president should have to take public transportation like the rest of us. He could sell Air Force One on ebay and give the money to job creators to hire new workforces in Indonesia.
